The article provides a criminal law analysis of the norm establishing criminal liability for the rehabilitation of Nazism in Russian legislation. The study is relevant in light of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the current challenges of the information society. Based on the study of the regulatory framework, doctrinal sources, and current judicial practice, the article examines the problems of qualifying crimes under Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Special attention is given to the issues of determining the moment of completion of the crime, defining "publicity" as a mandatory feature of the objective side, and the subjective characteristics of the act.
