Modern artificial intelligence technologies are increasingly penetrating various spheres of human activity, including the field of creativity. In recent years, works created by artificial intelligence have begun to appear, causing interest and controversy in society. This scientific article examines the legal and ethical aspects of recognizing works created with the help of artificial intelligence as public domain. The authors analyze the current legislative framework and approaches to regulating intellectual property in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies. Particular attention is paid to issues of authorship, the transformation of human creative activity and the role of the author in creating works using artificial intelligence.
