The author substantiates the need for comprehensive provision of court proceedings by detective and preliminary investigation bodies against the background of the increasing role of judicial evidence. The article points to the insufficient effectiveness of the existing mechanisms for collecting new evidence, combating unlawful obstruction of judicial proceedings. Attention is drawn to the need to assist the court in ensuring the appearance of participants in criminal proceedings, checking candidates for jurors. The article analyzesthe activities support of the state prosecution, related to the preparation of participants in the criminal process for the trial, the provision of tactical information to the prosecutor. The author puts forward the thesis about the need to empower the court and the prosecutor with the right to issue instructions on the conduct of operational investigative measures and procedural actions that cannot be carried out in a court session.
